The US Food and Drug Administration is warning users of a new product that will give them the extra protection they need to get to the bottom of the problem, a new study says.
It contains sildenafil, the active ingredient in Viagra and Pfizer’s iconic impotence drug.
Viagra, known chemically as sildenafil citrate, is the generic name for the drug.
The FDA has approved the drug for erectile dysfunction in the US, which can cause an erection only when the man is sexually stimulated.
Viagra’s patent has expired, but it will likely soon be available on the U. S. market as an over-the-counter product.
The drug, which is manufactured by Pfizer, will also be able to be sold in a different category of products called non-branded generic versions.
A spokesman for a Canadian pharmacy said: “We understand that the company has an interest in making this product more accessible.
“We are confident in the FDA’s continued commitment to bring this product to the marketplace.
“We are excited to have this product available in the US, and we look forward to providing it to the US marketplace at least in a future year or two.”

While Eroxon is not yet commercially available as a treatment for ED, it is widely available in the US and worldwide.
The company is looking for other ways to help patients.
